Caliber - KEYARTS - Chernobog

In grim legends of ancient Slavs, Chernobog represents darkness and chaos. His presence is felt where life gives way to death, and light goes out in the face of ruthless shadows. The arbiter of fates, he reminds mortals about the fragility of life: every living being will sooner or later cease to exist. Chernobog rarely shows his real appearance. The legends say that often he presents himself as a black raven — a bird whose wings, like the night sky, bring omens of formidable changes.

The Chernobog Outfit represents Slavic mythology in a modern interpretation. His equipment shows a connection with a raven: the feather-like blades are conveniently located for quick use, a shroud that reminds of folded wings and doesn’t restrain movement, and the boots with treads that imitate the bird’s claws. On the operator’s chest, there is a medallion with Chernobog’s symbol which represents his constant connection with darkness.

Armed to the teeth, he brings his AK-12 prototype to the battlefield: an improved model of the famous assault rifle line which was produced in a very simplified configuration due to its high cost. His personal weapon is a modified Poloz pistol which is equipped with a unique cocking system activated by sliding the trigger guard. In this outfit, Voron embodies both ancient mythology and modern power.
