Caliber - WEAPON - Sako TRG-22

A Finnish sniper rifle created based on the Sako TR-6 sports rifle and the promising M86 sniper rifle of the Valmet weapons division. Its sporting origins allowed civilian shooters to successfully use the TRG-22 model during ISSF and CISM competitions. The main variant was designed for the .308 Winchester cartridge, but the Finnish designers almost immediately began designing a longer bolt to use the powerful .338 Lapua Magnum cartridges.
