Caliber - GROM - NOMADS - Key Art

GROM NOMADS unit was introduced to Caliber in January 2021.
These Legendary Outfits of the GROM collection are based on the appearance and equipment of the Polish operators during their training expedition in the Sahara in 1997. The course was called the March of Truth. According to Jacek Pałkiewicz, the extreme traveller who created this course, the operators had to endure brutal desert conditions for two weeks, complete the survival course and practice a hostage rescue scenario.
The expedition broke all the rules of surviving in a desert. The operators were walking even during the hottest hours; they made very short breaks, didn't receive any additional rations and had to search for food and water. Some may call this style of the Polish operators semi-official. Though they had to improvise, their outfits were documented. Basically, they wore the lightest clothes they could use (including their personal items) to cross barchan dunes of the Sahara and complete the multi-day walking part of the course as soon as possible.
